Country Supply Inc. was incorporated in 1975 after Dean and Roger Hupe at Evergreen Sod Farm put together Transcraft flatbed trailers and Prowler forklifts to deliver sod to Chicago. Previously this type of work was done on straight trucks with everything done by hand, from the cutting to loading, unloading and installing.
Soon the brothers would be selling more equipment than sod and thus a new company was formed to engage in the business of semi trailers and forklifts. As the years progressed other types of models were added to the line up such as Dropdecks, Lowboys, Hydraulic Tail Trailers and the like. Since they were farmers and they had to use the trailers for their sod company it was decided to sell the most reputable brands that were made in the USA. Country Supply, Inc. still proudly represents these following manufactures-Reitnouer, Transcraft, Trail King, Doonan, XL Specialized and Prowler Forklifts. The company has also expanded to include parts & service as well as the in house lease company Liberty Leasing & Equipment Co., Inc.
